Khaled is probably the most famous singer of Raï, the music in Arabic language common to North Africa.
The career of this Algerian singer culminated in the late 80’s with beautiful songs as Didi or Aicha.
He has sung recently with Melissa a French R&B singer the song Benthi.
He will be at the Barbican on Saturday 21st June.

The Middle East will be in the light on Monday 26th May at the South Bank Centre with the famous Isreali singer Noa and the impressive band Idan Raichel Project with musicians from Ethiopia and Arabic Israel.
